Tie Guan Yin is an elite Chinese oolong tea (oolong, oolong) with world fame. Named in honor of the Goddess Guanyin - “Iron Goddess of Mercy.”
The harvest of Te Guan Yin tea takes place 4 times a year. Tea picked in early spring is considered the best, as it has a brighter aroma.
The production of Tie Guan Yin is a very labor-intensive process. When the tea leaves are collected, they are scattered indoors to “cool.” Subsequently, they are taken out in the sun to dry, then shaken and crushed a little (manually or using a machine), this causes tea juice to appear, and, as a result of combining with oxygen, tea fermentation (withering) begins. This tea juice will give the future tea leaf a characteristic aroma. After rolling, the tea is dried again, rolled and dried again - this can be repeated many times. The result is a small lump that will slowly unfold when brewed, each time surprising you with a new taste and aroma.
Tie Guan Yin is highly valued in China itself, every Chinese knows the taste of real Tie Guan Yin, this tea, along with Longjing and Dahunpao, represents the Celestial Empire at the highest state level, ending up in the cups of high-ranking guests.
Tie Guan Yin has a delicate light taste, the aroma reminiscent of blooming lilac. In the infusion you can distinguish shades of flowers and fruits, and enjoy the honey aftertaste.
Constant use of Tie Guan Yin normalizes blood pressure, strengthens the walls of blood vessels and improves skin elasticity.
