India Monsооned Malabar
Full name: India Monsooned Malabar AA.
"Monsooned Malabar" is known among connoisseurs as a coffee with a unique taste with moderate acidity. Its infusion of medium saturation is distinguished by its richness of taste, filled with a slight bitterness, a hint of spice and a bready note. The strength of the drink is combined with a bright and rich aroma.
The coffee plantations on which the variety is grown are located in the south of the Indian region of Malabar.
Growing height: 450-900 m above sea level.
The Malabar Coast is located in the southwestern part of India. This area is characterized by high humidity, due to the influence of the Sahyadri Mountains (or Western Ghats). The hills contribute to the fact that monsoons (winds that periodically change their direction) from the ocean, entailing rains, stop and pour out precipitation mainly from the western side.
Currently, Malabar's coffee gifts are provided to the influence of the monsoon winds in special warehouses in the city of Mangalore. The coffee is naturally processed and goes through the path of three or even four months of aging.
As the beans lose their firmness, the coffee needs a special roasting mode. Unlike dense washed Arabica varieties, such fruits are fried more slowly.
